The Sally Cooper Duo has been one of Australasias' Premier professional entertainment acts in the 5 star hotel industry for the last 10 years.

Sally Cooper and Phillip Stone are the core members of the group, they also work with floating members (always Australias’ best, and occasionally from The U.S.A) to form a Trio and up to a 5 piece band.
 
Australian Vocalist Sally Cooper covers all the Divas, from Ella to Aretha, from Billie Holiday to Norah Jones, from Eva Cassidy to Janis Joplin, but when she sings, she treats every note as though it were her own, and each note she sings IS!

Sally ' educational background began Sydney with studies of Music theatre, classical operatic, jazz and contemporary singing with luminaries of Australian theater, The Australian Opera, and The NSW conservatorium of music. She has fronted her own band, Trio and Duo "The Sally Cooper Band, Trio and Duo" for the last 10 years and has been enjoying her busy schedule of performances in Premium venues across Sydney, Australia, and Internationally since its formation. In her backing band, she always picks and chooses the best available, and has been fortunate enough to work with musicians who have also supported artists such as Barbara Streisand, Madonna, Frank Zappa, James Taylor and Steve Vai.
 
Thanks to her wealth of knowlege and experience about her craft she is also in demand in Australia as a vocal coach.

Guitarist in the duo Phillip Stone has been the permanent member and musical director of Sallys Band since he joined in 1999. Phillip is often praised by qualified International musical contemporaries as really BEING a master of the guitar. Covering styles that range from George Benson to Jimi Hendrix, from Pat Metheny and Wes Montgomery to Larry Carlton. Sophisticated acoustic jazz guitar stylings to showstopping electric Blues Rock.
 
Phillip has a biography as a performing and recording musician, clinician and teacher that reads like a whos' who of The Australian music industry. Highlights of his career include regular peformances at The Sydney Opera house and? musical director for a showband that entertained The Duchess Of York. He has worked in bands alongside artists such as Daryl Braithwaite, (from Sherbet,) Buddy Guy and Rick Price. The Addition of Phillip Stone to Sally Coopers team elevated their success to a world class standard. As a Duo they been performing in 5 star hotels internationally (in India, Thailand, Singapore, China, South Korea, Japan, Bahrain, and Tahiti,) for the last 5 years.

The Duos’ Repertoire features a vast selection of 650 well known cover songs from 1940 to the present day, catering for most musical tastes. They have the rare versatility of being able to perform as a First Class Jazz & Blues Duo AS WELL as covering most Popular Music. The Sally Cooper Trio performs the same diverse repertoire as the duo, and features the addition of a pianist, suitable either for piano bar environments, and for bigger venues requiring a full band sound.

The Sally Cooper Band is strictly a Jazz/Swing/Soul ensemble, performing a mix of Jazz/Blues, Swing and Soul that will please  the ears of discerning jazz audiences and it can also get every set of feet in the venue on the dancefloor
Utilizing Wireless Remote Microphone and guitar systems, The Sally Cooper Duos performance can involve both Sally and Phillip roaming into the crowd and responsively involving the audience in the show.
